About

PayHigh is a fintech company. They hire me to design new internal password management tools for team leads. Because they can't use an external tool for security reasons.

The Problem

Since the company’s databases hold compassionate data, it is essential to ensure that all passwords that employees use to connect to external and internal services are secure. While PayHigh has an automatic system that sends out emails to inform users about issues with their passwords, experience shows that 83% of users ignore them.

Team Managers

To design an accurate and empathetic user experience. First, I try to understand what are the critical responsibilities of a team leader
Manager or supervisor: Responsible for overseeing all activities within a team.
Strategist: Responsible for deciding how to approach tasks and develop a plan to accomplish them.
Communicator: Responsible for distributing information to team members and stakeholders.
Organizer: Responsible for keeping track of and structuring various tasks, employees and documents.

Team managers needs

Know about the problems that exist with the passwords of their team members.
They are taking action to solve problems and keep track of their progress.
Feel confident about securing their team passwords.

Solving Issues and monitor progress

The manager will receive alerts about the status of his team member's passwords before and after an issue occurs, and he will be able to take action to resolve the problems.

The management tool allows the manager to inform the team members via well-known communication methods to ensure action is taken.

For example, Lior's password is about to expire in a week.
The management tool will inform the manager of an occurred issue. The team leader will be able to perform the proper action and communicate it to the responsible team member and monitor its progress.

Final thoughts

I talked with Team Managers to understand their day-to-day work and responsibilities. Then, I designed a password management tool that shortens the time for resolving various issues with passwords and helps monitor and identify them most efficiently.

Thank u for your time to look into my project! 🔐
